Participants Needed for Brain Imaging Study on Cognitive Function

The NeuraConnect Lab at the University of Georgia’s School of Chemical, Materials, and Biomedical Engineering is currently recruiting healthy adults and adults with mild cognitive impairment for a non-invasive brain imaging study using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). 
🔬What you’ll do: 
Participants will complete iPad-based neurobehavioral tasks that assess cognition, motor function, sensation, and emotion while wearing a comfortable, helmet-like fNIRS device that measures brain oxygenation. 
📍What to expect: 
  • Two sessions, each lasting 1.5 to 2 hours 
  • Conducted on the UGA campus 
  • Participants will receive $50 per session (up to $100 total)
